Disable ClearType font smoothing in Vista

Vista fonts fuzzy blurry unclear!

On all of my Vista installs I notice after about 2 hours of using them that I get a headache. I finally worked out it was the new way vista smoothes out fonts.

Using the GUI to turn this feature off didn’t work on any of my computers so I found this registry hack.


1. Open Registry Editor
2. Navigate through HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Control Panel and Desktop.
3. Set FontSmoothingType to 1.
4. Set FontSmoothing to 1.
5. Reboot.

I recently succumbed to peer pressure and purchased an IPhone. I quickly became addicted to downloading free apps and games. I then started working out how to write IPhone apps and jailbroke, unlocked and installed my first app. This experience allowed me to start playing with other application settings and thats how I found some cheats for IPhone games. For the cheat today you will need to be able to access the file system of your IPhone. You can do this with a jail broken phone using IPhoneBrowser.exe and a windows box or by using the IFile application found in Cyder. There are two version of Tower Madness. In this example I will use TM Zero. IFile will give you the application path of TM Zero if you turn the "Application Names" on.
